20251128jmu - JMU delivers next-generation energy-saving bulk carrier at its Kure Plant in Hiroshima Prefecture.

This is the 19th vessel of the J-Series 82400 DWT type (J82BC), which is a further development of the G-Series 80800 DWT type (G81BC), developed as the next generation of Panamax bulk carriers, a type with a long history for the company.

The most distinctive feature is that, while maintaining the same hull specifications as the company's conventional vessels, it incorporates the latest regulations (such as the Common Structural Rules for Bulk Carriers and Oil Tankers and NOx (nitrogen oxide) emission regulations Tier III) and achieves both increased cargo capacity and reduced fuel consumption by utilizing the company's unique energy-saving technologies.
