On December 1st, Fujitsu announced the development of a multi-AI agent collaboration technology that optimizes the entire supply chain according to the situation by having multiple AI agents developed by different vendors belonging to different companies within the supply chain work together.

<Overview of the developed technology>

Using this technology, Rohto Pharmaceutical, in collaboration with Tokyo University of Science, will begin a proof-of-concept experiment in January 2026 to optimize Rohto Pharmaceutical's supply chain through the collaboration of AI agents from multiple companies.
The multi-AI agent collaboration technology consists of overall optimal control of AI agents under incomplete information conditions, which involves giving instructions and negotiating with each AI agent to maintain an optimal state overall, even with limited information that each company can share, and a secure agent gateway that enables secure information sharing between each AI agent.
This technology not only enables efficient and optimal operation of the supply chain under normal circumstances, but also allows for rapid recovery in the event of sudden changes in demand or emergencies such as accidents and disasters.
Fujitsu will participate in and contribute to the promotional activities of the Council on Competitiveness (COCN) to create an AI space that enables secure data and AI collaboration across different companies, aiming to strengthen the competitiveness of Japanese industries through AI agents.
