Ryohin Keikaku, the company that operates MUJI, has resumed order taking and shipping operations for some products on December 1st at its official online shop, "MUJI Net Store," which had been suspended since 9 PM on October 19th.

The company primarily operated using 3PL services provided by ASKUL LOGIST, a group company of ASKUL, but had to suspend orders due to a ransomware infection at ASKUL.

Since then, Ryohin Keikaku has been working with various parties to review and verify its information security system, and has been preparing to resume operations. This time, they will resume order and shipping operations for large furniture, the "Shokoku Ryohin" direct-from-the-producer page on their online store, and applications for their "monthly flat-rate service."

The resumption of orders and shipments for all products on the online store is scheduled for mid-December. They will make another announcement once the exact reopening date is confirmed.
