Nichirei Logistics Group announced that it conducted tours of its Sakishima Logistics Center, operated by Nichirei Logistics Kansai, for two elementary schools in Osaka City on November 12th and 21st.

The tour was held at the request of the Osaka Port Authority as an opportunity to learn about the broader social role of ports and logistics.
First, we explained the role of the logistics center and its connection to the port. Afterwards, we showed them how goods are unloaded from containers that have been transported from the container terminal and how goods are loaded onto delivery trucks.
During the tour of the freezer, participants also had the opportunity to experience instantly freezing a wet towel by shaking it inside the freezer. The tour provided an opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding of the importance of low-temperature logistics.
