On December 1st, Fukuyama Transport and Komaru Transportation Foundation held a traffic safety class for 34 third-year students at Okayama Prefectural Okayama Seto High School for Special Needs Education.
<Explanation of blind spots in trucks>

<Riding experience using a bicycle simulator>

Because the school is located on a busy main road, experiential learning was conducted to allow students to experience firsthand the characteristics and dangers of trucks, and to predict hazards using dashcam footage and a bicycle simulator.
The school is a special needs high school that aims for social independence through employment. Students shared comments that contributed to increased awareness of traffic safety, such as, "If I end up working with trucks at my job, I want to be careful about turning radius and blind spots."
