Nitto Denko group company Nitoms launched "Low Temperature Durable Line Tape DLT-FR" on December 1st, which can withstand low temperatures down to -24°C. It is intended for use in areas such as partitioning in logistics warehouses that handle refrigerated and frozen products.
<Box containing 6 rolls (left) and low-temperature resistant line tape>

<Unique 3-layer film structure>

Conventional durable line tape is used for marking in factories and warehouses, but across the industry, there has been a challenge in that it is difficult to apply to the floors of refrigerated and frozen warehouses.
In reality, demarcation at the site was being carried out using liquid paint (paint type) or powder coating (melt type). However, this presented problems such as paint peeling and the difficulty of repainting lines after peeling.
<Recommended ambient temperature is -24 to -2°C>

Therefore, Nitoms developed a line tape that uses a special adhesive that can maintain its adhesive strength even in low-temperature environments. This makes it usable for demarcation and other applications even at -24°C.
Its unique three-layer film structure provides excellent durability, making it resistant to tearing and peeling.
Because it is resistant to stretching and curving, it is easy to apply straight even by one person, and its installation is simple. Since the film and adhesive adhere firmly, it is less likely to leave adhesive residue when removed, and can be used for temporary area demarcation.
