On December 4th, Fukuyama Transport and Komaru Transportation Foundation held a traffic safety class for 30 fifth-grade elementary school students at Fuchu Meigo Gakuen, a school in Fuchu City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

Because Fuchu Meigo Gakuen is located on a busy main road, the school requested that we conduct experiential learning activities to prevent traffic accidents during students' commutes and to raise their awareness of traffic safety. These activities included hands-on experiences regarding the characteristics and dangers of trucks, as well as safe behavior at intersections and crosswalks.
Students shared comments such as, "At intersections, I want to be careful of the turning radius and blind spots of trucks."
