Nearly 400 people gathered, including executives and employees of domestic and international group companies, the president of parent company Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, and Chairman Utoku of the alumni association, to share the company's 135-year history and the spirit it has had since its founding.
The company stated that it was the support and efforts of customers, stakeholders, and former employees that enabled them to continue their business, and expressed their gratitude. Looking ahead to the next 10 or 20 years, the group will continue to take on challenges with the pioneering spirit of its founder, building upon the trust it has cultivated over many years, and focusing on "three pillars of safety": "establishing a safety and health culture," "creating a secure workplace environment with guaranteed psychological safety," and "sustainably providing stable services that earn the trust of customers and partners."
