The Yamato Group launched its "Recall and Voluntary Recall Support" service in 2007, providing comprehensive support from developing recall plans to collection, inspection, and after-sales service. To date, they have assisted over 400 companies with their recalls and voluntary recalls.
Specifically, they are working to improve the recall rate by analyzing the characteristics of the target customers and residents of the recalled products, targeting specific areas with advertising and direct mail, and checking for the presence of the affected products during home visits by Nekosapo's housekeeping service.
Furthermore, we continuously plan and operate information exchange meetings for companies that have implemented recalls, sharing know-how on recall response with many companies. For lithium-ion battery-related products, we also work with manufacturers to secure storage locations and implement fire prevention measures to build a system to prevent further damage.
The company was praised not only for utilizing its nationwide logistics network to quickly and appropriately recall products, but also for promoting awareness campaigns to improve recall rates and prevent recurrence in collaboration with the recalling companies.
