Starfield, a company that provides support services for cross-border e-commerce, launched "Bynd," a cross-border e-commerce management system that utilizes generative AI, on December 16th.
Bynd is a system that automatically integrates and centrally manages product data from any e-commerce site operating in Japanese with overseas marketplaces such as Shopee. Its AI-generated data handles translation, category setting, and customer support, enabling smooth cross-border e-commerce expansion even without specialized knowledge or language skills.
Specifically, the AI optimizes product information on the company's e-commerce site to suit each country's marketplace, and also supports multilingual translation for languages such as Taiwan, Singapore, and Thailand. Furthermore, it automatically generates shipping labels and handles the notification of tracking numbers within the system, eliminating the complexities unique to international logistics.
Starfield has been providing its cross-border e-commerce site building system "LaunchCart" since 2016, and it is used by more than 400 companies. While developing its cross-border e-commerce support business, including support for opening stores on overseas marketplaces and outsourcing operations, Starfield developed Bynd as a tool to further lower the barriers to cross-border e-commerce.
In the future, they plan to expand the number of compatible overseas marketplaces and domestic shopping cart systems, as well as sequentially add features such as a single-item repeat purchase function and an AI reporting function to maximize sales.
