Bridgestone Soft Robotics Ventures announced on December 16th that it has developed a new model of its proprietary soft robot hand, "TETOTE," called "Strong Model-12." It is intended for use in manufacturing and logistics sites that face challenges in handling large or heavy objects.

Its key feature is that it delivers maximum output in the "TETOTE" system. By switching from the conventional four-finger grip to a stronger, thicker six-finger grip, it achieves a payload capacity of 12 kg.
Furthermore, the lightweight design of the hand allows for maximum utilization of the payload capacity of the attached robotic arm.
