T5, a manufacturer and distributor of various logistics equipment, will launch "Simple DWS," a solution that allows for the measurement of the three dimensions and weight of products, as well as photography, simply by installing it on an inspection table, starting in January of next year.

Its key features include the ability to reuse existing desks and inspection tables, and its quick implementation without the need to purchase a complete set of specialized equipment. It is intended for use in operations where piece-by-piece measurements are required at data centers.
The simple configuration of "3D camera + weighing scale + PC + tablet + (existing) inspection stand" is a key point, allowing for cost-effective implementation. Integrating "measurement" into the inspection process reduces the burden on operations.
Furthermore, the captured product images can be used as internal master photos to assist with picking, among other uses.
By creating a product master with complete dimensional and weight data during the receiving process, it is possible to optimize and reduce packaging materials in shipping operations and improve the overall efficiency of warehouse work.
