The NX Group has positioned the semiconductor-related industry as a key industry in its "Management Plan 2028," and is highlighting that it has 10 strategic semiconductor industry bases throughout Japan, mainly in Hokkaido and Kyushu.
In addition, regarding international transportation, they introduced their efforts in road surveys in India and semiconductor infrastructure surveys using their proprietary app. According to Takahiro Ueki of the Semiconductor Team at NXHD Global Business Headquarters, "While there is a growing movement towards domestic semiconductor production in India, there are challenges in terms of transportation, such as uneven roads. We have established two bases in the country to conduct surveys."
NX Trading Co., Ltd. is showcasing "Logivision," a vibration-damping transport service for semiconductors, medical equipment, and other products. They are exhibiting actual products such as "vibration-damping pallets" that reduce vibration and shock during transport using their proprietary "damping coil spring" technology, and "vibration-damping sleeve boxes" that achieve vibration-damping transport and improved loading efficiency.

The patented "damping coil spring" uses a special viscoelastic damper wrapped around the spring to reduce vibrations and shocks caused by uneven road surfaces. They also unveiled a new "vibration-damping sleeve box" in a standard pallet size of 1100 x 1100 mm. Nippon Express NEC Logistics showcased its specialized semiconductor and electronic component warehouses and advanced logistics services.
Cathay Cargo introduced "Cathay Expert," a solution for special cargo such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment sensitive to vibration and temperature changes, ultra-heavy items, and irregularly shaped goods.
The company highlighted its ability to provide cargo services to over 100 cities using Hong Kong International Airport as a hub, its on-site cargo terminal with thorough temperature and quality control, and its expertise and speed in cargo loading unique to dedicated cargo aircraft. They also mentioned working on improving logistics efficiency using AI to meet the high demands of the semiconductor industry.
