The purpose is to strengthen logistics functions and expand storage capacity in the Tohoku area, and a total floor area of 13,766 m2 has been secured, which is approximately six times the size of the previous facility.

This location will serve as the main base for the Tohoku region, and the existing Ogimachi Center will be utilized as the "Ogimachi TC Center." Efficient operations will be achieved through the use of these two adjacent locations.

The new facility is equipped with a low-temperature environment ideal for food logistics. The entire building is air-conditioned, maintaining a temperature of 20°C ± 2°C even in summer. This strengthens our ability to handle refrigerated goods and enables us to provide higher quality, value-added logistics services.

In addition, sheet shelters are used to ensure safety and natural light, and mobile racks are used to improve storage efficiency. Two cargo elevators and two vertical conveyors are also installed, allowing 16 large vehicles to dock simultaneously.

They are also focusing on improving the working environment, and have installed an office and cafeteria on the 4th floor. Aiming to create an "office that people want to come to," they have adopted a layout that balances communication and concentration.

In addition, as part of its BCP (Business Continuity Plan) measures, the facility is equipped with emergency power supplies and fuel storage facilities, ensuring a power supply system for up to 48 hours even in the event of a disaster. The communication network is secured through the combined use of automatic switching for emergency power supply and satellite links, enabling the continuation of office and warehouse operations.
