On December 19, Fumakilla announced that it had integrated the Warehouse Management System (WMS) of Atago Warehouse, which handles its logistics operations, with the electronic delivery slip sharing system provided by Nippon Pallet Rental (JPR) via API. TSUNAGUTE provided support for the implementation, and the system has commenced operation under the collaboration of all four companies.

This has automated the invoice issuance process, which was previously done manually at Fumakilla's facilities. As a result, it is expected to reduce workload, save labor, prevent human error, and also reduce waiting times for truck drivers.

Going forward, the four companies plan to strengthen their collaboration and work with other shippers handled by Atago Warehouse to standardize invoice issuance operations, thereby reducing the burden on logistics operators.

Furthermore, the company aims to handle invoice data and pallet information together, enabling the completion of pallet receipt and disbursement simultaneously with the receiving procedure, and envisions the establishment of a paperless and inspection-free system in the future.
