NIPPON EXPRESS Holdings announced on December 19th that Nippon Express has launched a new feature called "Operation Insight" in its logistics web application "DCX (Digital Commerce Transformation)," which allows for real-time monitoring of warehouse operations.
We have automated the collection and analysis of work data accumulated through daily operations, making it available for on-site improvements and proposals to customers.
The new feature can be used at NX Group locations both domestically and internationally that have implemented "DCX," allowing them to monitor warehouse work performance in real time via the app and optimize staffing and work procedures.
Work hours and actual quantities are automatically recorded and compiled. There is no need to clock in and out at the start and end of work, or to perform administrative tasks using Excel or similar programs.
Data obtained from each location is aggregated at a global level, and by sharing and visualizing knowledge and expertise across the entire NX Group, logistics will be optimized, leading to high-quality logistics services.
Previously, even when optimizing staffing and improving operations were necessary on the ground, it was difficult to grasp the results of work in real time, which meant that considering and implementing measures took time.
Therefore, a new function for "DCX" was developed. By utilizing the work logs accumulated daily in "DCX," work results can be automatically compiled and visualized every hour. This allows for immediate understanding of the progress of work and personnel allocation within the warehouse, leading to swift improvement actions.
