The Caspian Sea route has been highlighted as an important logistics route from resource-rich Central Asia to Russia, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is conducting demonstration experiments related to transportation.

Based on the declaration, we will enhance connectivity, including supporting the facilitation of the Caspian Sea route, thereby mitigating economic security risks from a logistical perspective.

In addition to Prime Minister Takaichi, the leaders of the United States attended the summit meeting, along with Kazakhstan President Kasmu Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov, Tajikistan President Emamoli Rahmon, Turkmenistan President Serdil Berdimuhamedov, and Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev (in alphabetical order).

In addition to the joint meeting, Prime Minister Takaichi also held bilateral summit meetings with the presidents of various countries. At the Japan-Kyrgyzstan summit, she conveyed plans to replace the bridge over the Naryn River on the international highway connecting to the Caspian Sea route, and at the Japan-Tajikistan summit, she conveyed plans to install large-scale railway X-ray inspection equipment at border customs.
