On December 23, Marui Group announced that "Tokohako," an in-building logistics system provided by the group's logistics company Moving, has been adopted by the commercial facility "Ichi* Building" (Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture). Meitetsu NX Transport is contracted to handle the in-building logistics for "Ichi* Building."

"Tokohako" is a system that digitally streamlines the process of managing the collection and delivery of goods for multiple tenants in a single building, such as office buildings and large commercial facilities. It reduces the burden of back-office operations and, through business improvements using data, leads to increased productivity and helps alleviate labor shortages.

In particular, in-house transport handles the last mile of delivery, making it essential to manage work history. Traditional analog management involved cumbersome tasks such as copying invoices, but with "Tokohako," packages and work history can be centrally managed as data, significantly reducing the burden on on-site staff.
Furthermore, while analog operations often lead to reliance on individual employees, "Tokohako" is intuitive to use, enabling standardization of workflows and leveling of skills. Using a wearable device allows for one-handed operation, enabling efficient work even while carrying luggage.
Furthermore, work data acquired via real-time communication can be instantly viewed on the dashboard. This enables flexible staffing arrangements according to the day's work progress. Implementation results have shown that it reduces on-site work time by approximately 2% and settlement work time by approximately 8%.
