By combining the speed of bullet trains and airplanes with one-stop transportation and customs clearance procedures, it becomes possible to deliver goods quickly from each region to their destination.
As the first phase of the project, seafood products, including "Echizen crab," will be transported from Fukui Prefecture to Taiwan. The goal is to deliver the regional specialties in a fresh state and promote Fukui Prefecture's food at hotels in Taiwan.
The two company groups aim to promote the appeal of Japanese food and revitalize local communities by further expanding overseas exports of excellent local products.
