Bounce Japan LLC, which operates the luggage storage service "Bounce," announced on January 6th that it has partnered with Yamato Transport to add hotels and other accommodations as delivery destinations for luggage such as suitcases. This will allow overseas travelers visiting Japan to travel smoothly to their accommodations without carrying their luggage.

The service works by using the Bounce app to select a drop-off and pick-up location for large luggage such as suitcases and carry-on cases at a Yamato Transport office or airport counter in your destination city. After entering the number of luggage items, your name, etc., and confirming your reservation, you can pick up your luggage at a Yamato Transport office or your accommodation.

Shipping from airport counters is limited to four airports: Haneda Airport (Tokyo International Airport), Chubu Centrair International Airport, Fukuoka Airport, and Naha Airport. Please note that airport counter pickup is not currently available.

Bounce plans to continue expanding its airport services, diversifying pick-up locations, and further strengthening its logistics network throughout Japan, aiming to provide travelers with more convenient and sustainable baggage solutions.

Japan Mobility Show / Commercial vehicle and logistics companies will also be exhibiting; open to the public from the 31st.
