CRE will hold a seminar on February 5th titled "The Role of the Logistics Manager and CLO."
In April 2026, the revised Logistics Efficiency Improvement Act will come into effect, mandating the formulation of medium- to long-term plans for specific shippers, periodic reporting, and the appointment of a "logistics management officer."
Since these systems will be installed at approximately 3200 specific shippers, it will be essential for related shippers and logistics companies that interact with logistics managers to prepare for their implementation.
At the seminar, Masahiro Fukai of Nissin Foods, who won the Gold Award at Nikkei Business's "CLO of the Year 2025" awards, took the stage.
Based on the results of the logistics reforms we have implemented, we will explain the essential roles of "Logistics Manager" and "CLO (Chief Logistics Officer)".
