Roofy, the provider of "Tebura-bin," a store-bought delivery service system that delivers items purchased in stores on the same day, launched "DeLink" on January 28th, a network system that combines online supermarket orders and in-store delivery orders for delivery. It has already been introduced at Aeon Kyushu, and plans are underway to expand it nationwide.

DeLink is a system that streamlines deliveries by integrating with online supermarket order systems via API and centralizing delivery information in the driver-focused operation app "Hakolog GO".
According to the company, online supermarkets face challenges such as significant fluctuations in demand because the number of orders is not finalized until the day of delivery, and higher logistics costs for stores with a small number of deliveries.
On the other hand, "in-store delivery" has a separate order system, making it difficult to combine online supermarket and in-store delivery shipments. Furthermore, the manual processes on the delivery side make efficient delivery difficult, posing a last-mile challenge.
To address these challenges, Roofy released DeLink. By aggregating delivery volumes across an entire area, it helps absorb fluctuations in demand and improve logistics efficiency, thereby supporting the creation of a system where various companies share logistics costs across areas, rather than each individual store bearing the burden.
