Tokyo Ink announced on April 27th that it will be revising the prices of some of its products.

The price revision will apply to all offset ink-related products. The revision is being implemented because the supply of crude oil and naphtha, which are key raw materials, is tight, and soaring market prices have led to increases in the prices of raw materials such as pigments, resins, additives, and solvents. Rising costs such as logistics, energy, and container costs are also cited as contributing factors.

These changes will apply to products shipped from June 1, 2026 onwards, and the price revisions are expected to be 20% or more, or 30% or more, depending on the product.

■Price revision range

Offset web ink 20% or more
Oil-based sheet-fed ink 20% or more
UV ink 20% or more
Newspaper ink 20% or more
Intermediate colors, special mix inks, special and other inks 30% or more

Nisshin Oillio Group to raise edible oil prices by up to 21%, citing factors such as the situation in the Middle East and rising logistics costs.
