Brother Industries began operations on May 7th at its new warehouse, "Minato No. 2 Warehouse," located on the factory grounds in Minato Ward, Nagoya City. With the completion of the warehouse, the headquarters functions of its logistics subsidiary, Brother Logitec, will also be transferred there.

"Minato No. 2 Warehouse" is a three-story building with a total floor area of approximately 16,000 square meters, and the total project cost was approximately 5 billion yen.
Brother Group has positioned industrial equipment and industrial printing equipment as key focus areas in its vision for 2030. Due to the increasing demand for storage of related products and parts as its business expands, and because several factory buildings currently used as warehouses on its premises are aging, the company decided to construct a new warehouse.
Furthermore, because it is located in a low-lying port area and is at risk of flooding from tsunamis, the "Port Warehouse No. 2" was constructed with its floor 80 cm higher than the height anticipated by tsunamis. Business Continuity Plan (BCP) measures were taken to address this issue.
Solar panels are planned to be installed on the rooftop, promoting the use of renewable energy and contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
Furthermore, Brother Logitec's headquarters functions will also be transferred, promoting efficiency improvements in warehouse and logistics operations across the entire group in Japan.
Furthermore, "Minato Warehouse No. 2" was constructed on the same factory site as "Minato Warehouse No. 1," which was completed in 2022.
