CBRE will hold an open house for its large-scale facility, "Hub Atsugi," in Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, on May 26th and 27th.

On the day of the event, in addition to a guided tour of the facility, there will also be a demonstration of Laputa Robotics' flexible automated warehouse (Laputa ASRS) and a picking experience using the picking assist robot (Laputa PA-AMR).
Regarding Hub Atsugi, CBRE explains, "It is located approximately 3.2 km from the Sagamihara-Aikawa Interchange on the Ken-O Expressway, which connects the Tokyo metropolitan area and western Japan. It boasts an advantageous location for wide-area distribution with access to major national highways (National Routes 16, 129, and 246), the Ken-O Expressway, the Tomei and Shin-Tomei Expressways, and the Chuo Expressway. The building is a five-story box-type warehouse, with columns spaced out on the top floor to achieve a 20-meter span, allowing for diverse layouts. It is equipped with two cargo elevators, four vertical conveyors, and an emergency generator (capable of operating for three days with approximately eight hours of use per day), enabling 24/7 operation."
