Aihiro Logistics, which operates forwarding businesses such as sea transport, air transport, and triangular transport, announced on May 21 that it has invested in NIINUMA TOMOFARM, a Vietnamese subsidiary of Niinuma.
NIINUMA TOMOFARM is engaged in the cultivation, processing, and sales of agricultural products and fruits. The ownership structure is such that the Niinuma Group holds a majority stake of 50.20%, Daiwa Gosei holds 38.74%, and Soko Logistics holds 11.06%.
In addition to logistics transactions, Aihiro Logistics has previously acted as the company's Japanese sales agent, supporting the overseas expansion of Japanese food products and introducing Vietnamese products to the Japanese market.
This investment aims to further develop this cooperative relationship, strengthen Soko Logistics' food logistics functions between Japan and Vietnam, enhance its food sales support business in both countries, and support the growth of NIINUMA TOMOFARM's trading business.
This will leverage Soko Logistics' expertise in customs clearance, forwarding, food logistics, and trade practices to provide comprehensive support not only for transporting goods but also for "delivering them overseas" and "receiving them in Japan."
