Hacobu launches service utilizing AI generation to read documents and digitize fax and paper-based business processes. February 20, 2026 |
The system will be implemented at the Heiwajima sales office starting in April 2026, and initially, shipping and receiving requests will be processed using the "MOVO Adapter".
Yasuda Warehouse plans to test the effectiveness of the "MOVO Adapter" at its Heiwajima branch office and then consider expanding it company-wide.
Furthermore, by linking the scanned data with warehouse management systems (WMS) and shipping label creation systems, we aim to reduce manual data entry and create an environment that allows subsequent operations to proceed smoothly.
"MOVO Adapter" is a service that uses AI generation to read documents and automatically digitize the necessary information. It reduces the amount of manual data entry work that was previously done by humans, and because the primary information is digitized, subsequent tasks can proceed more smoothly.
Traditional AI-OCR required users to manually set reading locations for each document, such as "delivery date" and "item name," to ensure accurate reading. However, the "MOVO Adapter" can automatically extract the necessary information, significantly improving operational efficiency.
Because it can output data in CSV format, including data common in handwritten documents such as double lines and marginal notes, it can handle all kinds of non-standard documents.
Koji Kawazoe, General Manager of Logistics Promotion at Yasuda Warehouse, stated, "As we have been promoting the digitalization of our logistics operations, processing the analog documents that remain at the 'entry point' of the business has become a challenge. With the introduction of the AI-OCR 'MOVO Adapter,' we can now more easily convert analog information into data, which we believe will lead to improvements in the entire subsequent business process. In the future, we hope to expand its use to a wider range of tasks, including the creation of shipping labels."
