OpenLogi, the provider of the logistics fulfillment platform "OpenLogi," has implemented a system update to prevent customs clearance problems during international shipments, in response to changes in EU (European Union) import regulations that will come into effect on July 1st.

This measure comes in response to the abolition of the de minimis tax exemption for products under 150 euros shipped to the EU, effective July 1st. This will significantly change customs rules for e-commerce shipments to Europe, including the mandatory submission of product identification codes to customs.

Furthermore, starting July 8th, electronic filing (eFiling) will be mandatory for certain products regulated by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) for shipments to the United States, requiring cross-border e-commerce businesses to manage their filing information more accurately.

These regulatory changes increase the risk of customs clearance delays and tariff problems if the necessary codes and information are not properly entered on the invoice (customs declaration document).

OpenLogi has updated its system to allow users to properly enter necessary information to ensure smooth international shipments. It also addresses the changes in customs rules resulting from the abolition of tax exemptions for EU shipments using FedEx and the introduction of uniform taxation.

OpenLogi expands the use of its "Truck Prediction" function to multiple warehouses.
