Prologis/Warehouse in Koga City reduces GHG emissions by 17%, to conduct environmental impact calculations for all domestic logistics facilities. February 18, 2026 |
Prologis has introduced Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) calculations for virtually all logistics facilities it develops domestically. For these calculations, it uses "One Click LCA," an LCA calculation software sold by Sumitomo Forestry that complies with international standards.
By implementing this system, it becomes possible to precisely calculate CO2 emissions during construction, from raw material procurement, processing, transportation, construction, operation, renovation, and disposal.
The project was recognized for its ability to quantitatively understand the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated throughout the entire lifecycle of logistics facilities, and for achieving reductions in GHG emissions through optimized equipment selection, design, and construction.
