Sumitomo Warehouse announced on July 10 that it has been selected for the second consecutive year as a constituent of the "FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index," a leading ESG investment index provided by FTSE Russell in the UK.
The "FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index" is an index designed to measure the performance of Japanese companies that demonstrate excellent ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices. It is also used as an index for ESG passive investment by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF), which manages Japan's public pension funds.
Furthermore, Sumitomo Warehouse has been selected for the "FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index," which GPIF will adopt from 2022, for three consecutive years.
