Anpha-AG Joint Stock (Anpha-AG), a group company of Konoike Transport, began operations on July 16th at a site adjacent to its existing warehouse in Tay Ninh Province, southern Vietnam, where it will primarily handle food products and food ingredients, with both ambient and refrigerated storage facilities.
The new warehouse was constructed at a cost of 527 million yen to accommodate the increased volume of frozen and refrigerated foods and imported ingredients handled in response to growing awareness of food safety and quality in Vietnam. By operating it in conjunction with the existing frozen and refrigerated warehouses, a logistics system capable of handling three temperature zones has been established.
The new warehouse has a total floor area of 7800 m2, comprising 6800 m2 for ambient temperature storage and 1000 m2 for refrigerated storage. Combined with the existing warehouse, this increases the total floor area to 15,676 m2 and storage capacity to 26,600 pallets.
Anpha-AG, aiming to expand cargo volume in southern Vietnam, is collaborating with Konoike Vinatrans Logistics, a transportation and delivery company within the Konoike Transportation Group. Leveraging its strengths in integrated proposals combining trunk line transportation and delivery, and high-value-added services centered on Japanese-quality temperature control and operation, Anpha-AG aims to capture a wide range of demand from Japanese companies, as well as companies in Vietnam, South Korea, China, Europe, and the United States.
