On July 6th, Amano launched a new service called "ASAS" (AMANO Smart Access Service), centered on a cloud-based license plate recognition access control system for factories and logistics facilities. It features a balance between logistics efficiency and enhanced security, and allows for flexible addition of features such as shuttle bus boarding and exit management and berth reservation system integration.
ASAS is a service that centrally manages vehicle and pedestrian access control on the cloud. By recognizing license plates, cameras at facility entrances automatically recognize vehicle license plates and compare them with registered information to determine whether entry is permitted.
Entry and exit history can be viewed on the cloud, and the system supports displaying the history of registered vehicles, VIP vehicles, and blacklisted vehicles, as well as alarm and warning light activation when a target vehicle is detected, conditional search, and CSV output. As a standard feature, it is equipped with an occupancy count display monitor and a monitoring monitor, allowing for real-time monitoring of traffic conditions within the facility.
Furthermore, it offers the option of gateless operation or gated operation, achieving both efficiency and enhanced security. It enables smart access control for facilities with a large volume of vehicle traffic, such as factories and logistics facilities, supporting increased efficiency, reduced manpower/unmanned operation, and enhanced security for guardhouse operations.
Optional integration with a berth reservation system is also available.
In addition, optional services include visitor reservation management, berth reservation system integration, and shuttle bus boarding/exit management.
The visitor reservation management service allows users to pre-register visitor and delivery company information, as well as vehicle license plate numbers, and automatically sends guidance emails with QR codes. Authentication via vehicle license plate or QR code enables smooth entry, supporting efficient reception operations and digital management of visitor history.
The berth reservation system integration service connects reservation information with vehicle entry and exit management by linking ASAS with other companies' berth reservation systems via API. Amidst the increasing adoption of berth reservation systems in response to the Logistics Efficiency Law, this service supports the reduction of vehicle congestion and the optimization of logistics base operations.
The shuttle bus boarding and exit management service streamlines the entry and exit of bus users using dedicated tablets and IC cards. It can also be used to verify the presence of people in the event of a disaster or emergency.
In recent years, factories and logistics facilities have been called upon to promote logistics DX (digital transformation) due to labor shortages and the need to comply with logistics efficiency laws. However, many facilities still rely on analog management methods such as paper-based visitor registration and the issuance and collection of vehicle permits, resulting in challenges such as the burden of waiting at security stations and reception duties. ASAS aims to achieve both logistics efficiency and enhanced security by digitizing the entry and exit management of such facilities.
The sales start date is July 6, 2026. The sales price will vary depending on the scale of installation, installation environment, and construction work. The sales target for the first year is 100 lanes.
