JR East Smart Logistics will begin providing its multi-functional lockers, "Multi-Cube," at the newly renovated "YKK AP ARENA" in Toyama City on October 1st.
The Multi-Cube is a multi-functional locker that serves four purposes in one unit: luggage storage, advance reservations via the website, and pickup and shipping of e-commerce products. General users can use it without registration, and the reservation function allows users to store their luggage before attending a game or event.

This installation marks the first time the system has been deployed in the Hokuriku area and to arena facilities. In the future, they plan to consider services such as locker pickup for merchandise in cooperation with the facilities.
The installation location is the entrance plaza on the first floor of YKK AP ARENA. Business hours are from 8:30 AM to 10:30 PM.
The company has been deploying its Multi-Cube system primarily at JR East stations in Tohoku, Kansai, and other regions. Going forward, it plans to strengthen collaboration with other infrastructure operators and public transportation companies to expand its installation area nationwide. The goal is to deploy 2000 units by fiscal year 2030.
