Sagawa Express announced on October 2nd that it will revise the registered shipping rates and fees for services such as "Hikkyaku Home Delivery" and "Hikkyaku Large Size Home Delivery" starting January 1st, 2027.
■Main changes
The average rate revision for Sagawa Express and Sagawa Express Large Size Express is approximately 13.8%. This is calculated by comparing the current rate with the revised rate, and the actual revision rate will vary depending on the size and region.
For example, for shipments originating in the Kanto region and arriving in the Kansai region, the price for a 60-size package will increase from the current 1040 yen to 1060 yen, a 100-size package from 1630 yen to 1650 yen, a 140-size package from 2310 yen to 2660 yen, a 160-size package from 2570 yen to 2960 yen, and a 170-size package from 3360 yen to 4200 yen. The 170-size package will see a 25% price increase.

In addition, the revised Sagawa Express courier service rates will apply to Sagawa Express Special Letter Service up to size 160. Sagawa Express Airmail, Sagawa Express Large Size Airmail, and Sagawa Express Special Letter Airmail will be revised according to size and region, with an average revision rate of approximately 2.7%.
For services such as mail delivery and installation/transportation of large furniture and home appliances, we will revise the fees according to the service, fee category, and size.
Additionally, the fee for issuing paper invoices will be increased from 100 yen (excluding tax) per invoice to 200 yen (excluding tax).
This revision takes into account rising costs related to securing facilities, vehicles, materials, and personnel, as well as ongoing investments aimed at maintaining and securing transportation capacity and strengthening the logistics network.
The company stated that it will continue to work on maintaining and strengthening its transportation network and improving productivity by establishing fair trading conditions with partner companies, improving employee treatment and working conditions, and streamlining its transportation network.
